On April 23, experts from the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center led a delegation of experts from the Rural Development Administration of the Republic of Korea to inspect Guangxi Kehong Company. Wei Bo, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Guangxi Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Huang Xi, Director of Guangxi Plant Protection Station, accompanied the visit. Xiao Zhike, General Manager of Guangxi Kehong Company, accompanied the delegation throughout the tour.
The delegation first visited Kehong Pest Science Popularization Museum. They learned in detail about the occurrence regularity, monitoring and early warning technologies, as well as green prevention and control measures of rice migratory pests. The delegation listened carefully to the company’s introduction on pest science popularization, technology promotion and practical training, and spoke highly of Kehong’s practices in pest knowledge promotion and public awareness improvement.

Later, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection at the National Major Pest & Disease Regional Emergency Prevention and Control Facility and Material Reserve Warehouse of Guangxi Kehong. They inspected modern prevention and control equipment such as helicopters and plant protection drones, as well as the reserve and management of various emergency pesticides and monitoring devices. General Manager Xiao Zhike reported on the company’s operational mechanism and practical capacity in rapid response to major pest outbreaks, regional joint disposal, and large-scale unified prevention and control.

During the exchange, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on cross-border monitoring and joint prevention of rice migratory pests. The visit further strengthened technical exchanges and experience sharing between China and South Korea in the field of plant protection, and fully demonstrated Guangxi Kehong’s professional capability and sense of social responsibility.
